Answer order-status emails with real ShipStation data

Connect ShipStation to TaskBees and every "where is my order?" email gets drafted with the real order, carrier, tracking number, and shipment status pulled from your ShipStation account — no tab-switching, no copy-paste.

What TaskBees does with ShipStation

◆

Order lookup on the tickets that need it

When a customer email is actually about an order, TaskBees looks it up in ShipStation by order number or sender address and attaches the result to the draft. Tickets that do not need order data never trigger a lookup.

◆

Tracking, carrier, and status in the reply

Drafts include the carrier, tracking number, current shipment status, and delivery estimate — the specifics that turn a filler reply into an answer the customer can act on.

◆

Delivery exceptions get flagged

Delayed, stalled, missing-tracking, and returned-to-sender shipments are surfaced against your own thresholds, so the tickets that need a human get one.

◆

A cross-provider Shipments view

Synced orders and shipments appear in a single Shipments dashboard alongside any other connected provider, with flag chips for the ones that need attention.

Connecting ShipStation

  1. 1Open Integrations in your TaskBees dashboard and pick ShipStation.
  2. 2Paste your ShipStation API key and secret (from ShipStation under Settings → Account → API Settings).
  3. 3TaskBees validates the credentials immediately and tells you if they are wrong — no silent failures.
  4. 4That is it. The next order-related email that arrives gets drafted with live ShipStation context.

Questions about ShipStation

Does TaskBees change anything in my ShipStation account?

No. The ShipStation connection is read-only — TaskBees looks up orders and shipments to write accurate replies. It never creates labels, edits orders, or marks anything shipped.

What if a customer emails from a different address than the one on the order?

TaskBees matches on order number when the customer gives one, and falls back to address matching otherwise. When ownership of an order is ambiguous, it asks the customer to confirm rather than guessing — it will never show one customer another customer's order.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes, from the Integrations page at any time. Your credentials are stored in AWS Secrets Manager and removed when you disconnect.
